Just had a taster of the new menu. Tried the ham, sweet onion gravy topped chips. Thoroughly excellent scran! It's not little bits of ham, but chunks. The chips were crispy on the outside and beautifly fluffy on the ins. By the end I was wishing I had a piece of bread and butter to mop the gravy up with. Cannot wait to try other new dishes, I was salivating reading the list! 100% highly recommend.

Just had a 4 night stay here (didn't book breakfast) and it was fab! Great value for money! Staff very friendly, nice warm welcome. Great atmosphere in the pub/restaurant too and always a welcome when we came back in after being out for the day. Room and bed very comfortable and surprisingly quiet given we looked out onto beer garden. Food good. Had delicious dinner on first night and breakfast on last day before heading for train. Location ideal too. Recommend to anyone planning going to Cambridge!

The Waterman! Located on a major street in gorgeous Cambridge, its unique architecture and masses of flowers are what first capture your attention. A peek inside one of the (dark blue with leaded glass) windows will give you immediate cozy vibes. It's kid-friendly, but definitely a pub, with a space just for you. Head inside for time with friends and/or family - watch the game, find a nook, share a long table and make some new friends; it's all waiting for you at The Waterman!

My partner and I visited The Waterman for brunch, and we were both really impressed. We ordered the fish and chips and a roast, and both dishes were excellent and far better than what you usually get at most pubs. To be honest, the quality of the food here can easily beat many high-end restaurants in Cambridge. Itβs probably the best pub meal Iβve had. A special shoutout to Nico, who kindly offered us coffees on the house after brunch. Great food and great service. Highly recommend, and weβll definitely be back!

The Waterman Pub is by far our favorite pub in all of Cambridge. The staff is so, so friendly and accommodating, and the food and drinks are always good. They are incredibly pet friendly, and have always welcomed our pup with opens arms. If looking for a fun, dog friendly pub with friendly patrons and welcoming staff with great food and drinks, then you will have found all of that in the Waterman!
