busy bar, serving wide range of drinks & with a good menu. would highly recommend the festive sandwich (skellern?🤔) although lots of other tasty choices. big rambling space, with nooks & corners upstairs & down -so don't be put off if it seems too full when you first walk in. lovely staff both bar & waiting, helped us find table space & extra seating. Happy to accommadate childrens food choices. will definitely go back - hopefully to enjoy their entertainment!

Esthetics of the var are really nice. Live music and football playing. Very quaint. Was easy to access from our hotel. Stayed open late on Sunday night. Has outdoor seating too.

The Skeff is part of the The Skeffington Arms Hotel. Food was very good. The Seafood Chowder and a couple of (non!) Stout beers from other parts of Ireland were a welcomed change of pace. IPA's, actually. One from Letterkenny, and the other from Kill, County Kildare. Other than the service being just a tad slow, it was (overall) very good. And the live music was magical this night. Okay...Not exactly magical, but covers from bands/artists that everyone knows, sung by a group of a youngish band of 3 called The Groev. They did a great job, actually.

We love the atmosphere and the food was really delicious, definitely a recommendation! We had dinner and really enjoyed a wonderful seafood pie, a very delicious burger, super tasty chicken wings and fantastic asian style pork!

Lovely staff, great location, Very Poor food. Hunger drove me here. Had the Roast Pork which was dry and hard, it came with only potato (which i knew) but for 17.90 they could add more veg. My son had a Chicken Parmigiana which was smothered in basil pesto overpowering the tomato based sauce and my daughter had chicken goujons which she was happy with.
