  Nice spot for some beers. The food is good and affordable. Service is very good and waitresses are always looking to bring you the next drink with a smile on the face. The music start to be loud around 9 or 10pm, what makes almost impossible to keep a conversation. It's a very nice and affordable place to spend an evening with some friends. I will return more times.

  The Shades Social: A Real Gem The Shade Social is a fantastic spot that nearly hits the five-star mark. The ambience is spot-on—cozy lighting, great background music, and a stylish, relaxed decor that makes you want to linger. Their cocktail menu is creative and the drinks we ordered were expertly mixed and strong. The food, specifically the small plates, was delicious and beautifully presented. Our only minor gripe was the service, which was a little slow despite the restaurant not being overly busy. While our server was friendly, they were occasionally hard to flag down. Overall, it's a highly recommended place for a night out.

  My review has changed This is a one stop place for any verity of drinks, from soft drinks to beer to spirits they got you covered. No forcing you to buy spirit or some expensive drink before you can sit somewhere, no stopping the music just because someone bought an expensive drink. Mix crowds of all race dancing to different genres of music from different parts of the world. Never a dull moment here. And the food choices are superb.

  Shades Social in Lagos is a cute spot if you’re into sports bars, but the experience was a bit hit or miss for me. The food was just okay—nothing special, but decent enough for bar bites. The real downside was the indoor smoking. It really took away from the vibe and made it hard to fully enjoy the space. If they could sort that out, it would be a much better hangout.

  Nice looking place, i liked the look of the bar, there's an area to play pool as well. The food was absolutely delicious, the steak was made exactly as requested and the mashed potatoes and gravy were perfect, the vegetables were also cooked to perfection, not to death, but there seemed to be some communication difficulties within the staff as the waiter who brought our food from the kitchen almost took it back when he couldn't find the waitress who had ordered it. I had a stout from their draft beer selection and it was delightful, strong but not an over powering taste. Tried a bit of my friend's larger and it had noticeable fruity notes and was just wonderful. The music here is loud so if you're looking for a place with low music to chat i guess they have areas in the same compound that aren't loud so it could still work. One star removed cos the manager was friendly to my friend, but not to me. The hospitality could use a bit of work. Bathrooms were clean, that was delightful as well
