Go to McLean’s if you want to be treated like a dollar sign. They expect a tip (like it’s TAX) no matter the service. The waitress there during the day is really way way past her sell by date, she is just rude and unhappy. Very negative bed side manner. Why? They changed the hockey game to … wait for it… Family Feud Canada. Huh? I asked that they change it back ASAP as the game was ongoing, they said they would do their best. Basically watch what we put on, pay your bill and shut up. They eventually got it back but now I’m the bad guy for asking for the appropriate entertainment in a Mtl pub?! When we asked for the bill she thought it appropriate to PHYSICALLY SHOVE (not kidding) the credit card pay terminal into my shoulder… Unprofessional and childish. I gave a decent tip anyways because I actually felt bad for her, she seemed to have a difficult life IMO. To the owner: Your day time waitress is costing you money 💰 for sure… run your business like a business, move her out or into the kitchen away from guests as old dogs never learn new tricks.

The atmosphere after the game was fantastic. We did notice there was only one server managing all the tables, but she was incredibly efficient and friendly. Regarding the food, we ordered the nachos and chicken fingers, which were the only thing we ate that day. While they tasted great, we unfortunately got sick afterward. We've been feeling awful the entire next day, unable to keep anything down, and had to miss the Habs game we traveled across the country to see. It was a really disappointing experience.

This one is a tricky review. I went there looking for a sports bar with the Habs and the Jays ALCS game 7 on the TVs. I was welcomed and seated at a great table with views of both games. Service was excellent and very accommodating (downstairs). I decided to move upstairs where they had the Jays game on full time with audio. There was NO service upstairs. It was self serve bar only with one bartender who was head down and scrolling when I went to get a beer. Most people (a packed house) had empty drinks, empty plates, etc. The wings were great, and atmosphere was very fun. But there was no service upstairs. The staff member who was wearing a black t-shirt and clearing tables was the hardest working guy there and deserves tips.

Came for the food, stayed for the vibes! The bacon poutine? Next level amazing. We tried the butter chicken pizza too--sounds wild, tastes awesome. Kudos to Angie the bartender--super friendly, made us feel like regulars, and had some top-tier drink and food recs. Also... Kilkenny on tap. I'm obsessed. Pretty sure I could take down a whole keg solo (don't test me). Awesome spot, killer service, and just a good time all around. Can't wait to come back!
